In ring experience is such an important aspect to getting better. That's why all the indie guys in AEW wrestle the way they do. They're use to wrestling like 6 times a year, so to them a match is just a thing where you do everything you ever thought of, they don't have the confidence to work slow, or leave ideas out to promote a bigger story. Ring time is precious to them and they react to it selfishly.
WWE's been needing to diversify their training. Set up like 5 gyms through the country, spread all the performance center guys around, have then train during the day and open the doors in the evening for free matches for whomever shows up. And then shuffle the talent around every couple of months.
