>>11537082Taz but I'm pretty sure he was liked enough that he'd make the top ten for many people and certainly I would think top 50 for many fans. Its just that he really had no career of note wrestling wise outside of ECW so I am pretty sure most pro wrestling enjoyers just see him as that commentator guy. So the vast majority of people into wrestling may know him but are completely unfamiliar with him as an actual wrestler. He was pretty much my childhood favorite wrestler. The greatest angry manlet gimmick there ever was.
Raven is also way too underrated. He wasn't the greatest wrestler match quality wise but his character work was incredible and just wasn't appreciated enough in his prime. He really should have had at least one solid run as a main eventer in either WCW and/or WWE. Heel Raven with a flock backing him while being world champ could have been amazing. Just imagine if BMJ had to feud with Raven and his flock for the title. A Raven and Cena feud would have been dimes.
Rhino was also pretty underrated. Not tall, maybe even kind of short for his prime back in the days when wrestlers were usually taller but Rhino was legit built like a wide super heavyweight despite his height and he absolutely looked like a believable threat to anyone he'd face. His gore was incredibly based as a finisher. This is yet another ECW guy that should have been a champion even if just one time in one major promotion outside ECW.
So those three should make anyone's top 50 tbqh but I don't think most supposed fans today would rank them top 50 let alone top 10.
