AEW is not what was promised. It does not have sports based presentation. I cannot even describe what this promotion presents as. It is certainly homoerotic and neurodivergent. Though, for the sake of the sport the promotion can still put on good matches. However these matches hardly ever have any sort of point to them. There wasn’t a single good wrestling show broadcast on American television this week. It was all a joke. Crown Jewel was deplorable both morally and artistically. It’s only relatively good match was a predictable Rollins v Mcintyre match in which the wrong guy won anyway. The rest of the show was utter garbage. What possessed them to hire Logan Paul and push him? The crowd was hot but this crowd is also intensely oppressed.
And Aew where do I start on them? Probably the most aimless promotion in wrestling. There’s no concern for anything being comprehensive because it is funded by wealth unimaginable. Dynamite hasn’t been must watch since the Christian v Omega feud. Finishing the Hangman was was delayed by about a year due to injury does anyone remember this? The promotion was heading towards a healthy Danielson v Omega feud that has been forgotten. It’s been aimless gay bullshit ever since. How do we get wrestling back on track?
