I don't believe the language barrier was why Tony didn't get Rey to a doctor. I think Tony simply didn't believe Rey and refused him to get him treatment.
I think Rey let it go until Tony got petty and added injury time. Now Rey is thinking wtf? Adding injury time after denying me medical attention?
I think Rey lawyered up. I think Tony's lawyer has advised him to make this statement. Because if Rey can prove he told Tony he was hurt and Tony didn't get him care then Tony is in very deep shit.
