>Sakurai debuted in February 2020 with *Actwres girl’Z*. She later joined *Stardom* in August 2021 but continued to struggle for results before participating in Marigold’s launch last May. In January of this year, she captured her first singles title. “I had no athletic background at all when I became a pro wrestler at 28. During my Actwres days, I trained so hard but was only booked once a month—it was frustrating. I kept swallowing mud water, refusing to lose to anyone, and I’ve made it all the way to a title match at Ryogoku. That’s really a dream come true. So this time too, I want to defend and prove to everyone that if you don’t give up, you can make your dreams come true.”
