>>6158620I don't like Naito. I didnt get to see his legit entertaining run as a heavyweight outshined by the ic title at wrestle kingdom, resulting in Naito hating the IC title and going on a run where he went from heel to tweener face. I came in at 2018. Naito can have great matches thats for sure I dont hate him but he doesnt do it for me like everyone else does because hes constantly getting hurt or getting wins against people I'd rather see beat him.
Agree with the love for everyone else. Honestly my biggest gripes with NJPW is the top of the card. I dont like okada I dont like hiromu. I dont like people who just win win win win win win win unless its storyline losing. I hate SANADA and I understand the concept of every time they met SANADA lasted longer but it took SANADA 8 matches to finally beat Okada that's retarded. There are people who have like 14 and 3 records on other people. There's 50/50 booking in NJPW sometimes however when its not that its the other extreme. Everyguy you listed (except Naito) I'd rather see be champ then Okada. Though the flip side is when Okada loses and loses the belt it feels truly special. Him dropping the belt to Jay (Someone who actually has multiple wins over Okadas single victory) felt special. Jay's promo felt heartfelt.
Anyone that hates NJPW either is jealous of it or hasn't given it a chance. I could've watched Naitos rise, I couldve watched Hiromu be a goofball with daryl. I couldve seen AJ in NJPW I ignorantly on /asp/ ignored and made fun of NJPW from 2013 to 2018. However I never really drove much of that hate just the occasional all the flips banter.
Don't be a faggot, give NJPW a chance if you really havent. Watch the G1 this year if you haven't. Don't be ignorant like I was.
