Real fighting is overrated, short lived and overall pretty dimeless. The very best fighters in the world are only ever on top for a few years before they start getting beat, and often their downfall is sudden and humiliating and within a few years they're getting beat up by cans. Elite fighters have a short shelf live, and less than 0.01% of them draw flies to shit.
How do you think pro-wrestling even started to begin with? It's because people realized right from the start that "real fighting" is a dimeless outlaw sport compared to fake fighting. Even in the UFC (and PRIDE especially back in the day) you get pushed for mic skills more than anything. Cain Velasquez was a great fighter but a dimeless shitter, and he made way less money than Chael Sonnen who was a mediocre fighter but drew major dimes with his mic skills.
