Ever since he got completely exposed in his "FIRST TIME EVAR!!!!" match with MJF, the match "the World has waited for", only drew 50k fans (and was the lowest-rated Dynamite since its move to TBS), Phil has been in the opening segments of Dynamite when the viewing figures are at their statistical highest - only to then lose lead-in.
I find this odd because if Phil was really the massive draw he and Khan thinks he is and as his contract (a contract which helped push Cody out of the door) would suggest, then people would be tuning him to watch - regardless of the time.
I mean, they did for Omega, Cody, Jericho, Moxley (before he became a massive pussy), and they did for Darby (before his feud with Phil).
Keep in mind that with Phil's return and the acquisition of Brain Danielson, not to mention the moving to TBS (in more households) that TK and the wrestling media were expecting AEW to grow and have a million viewers as their minimum.
Yet, that has not happened.
In fact, the best Dynamites are the ones which rely on the AEW originals. Be nice if Tony Khan realised that...
