>>18692988I opened the Hulu app. Law & Order SVU has always been a guilty pleasure. I find the trajectory of the show fascinating. Did you know that it’s been on the air for 27 seasons? Incredible. It started out as a gritty, down to earth police serial before becoming almost a parody of itself by season 8, bordering on absurdist comedy (remember the monkey in the basketball?). After Stabler left at the end of season 12 it rebooted itself back into a show rooted in reality, albeit one that suffered from being too sterile and polished. With that said, I do believe that the Amaro era is an underrated one, especially after one compares it to whatever garbage they limp to air with these days. Just another one of America’s great institutions to be ruined by the woke mind virus. Many such cases. I made it through the golden eras of seasons one through four, only skipping episode 17 of season 3. I question if I’m as far gone as the subject of that episode. I don’t think I am, but I’m scared that if I slip any further that I could be. I check the thread for the first time in what feels like forever. I’m shocked to see the janny encouraging me to get help. Thank you. I mean it.
