Correct me if I'm wrong because I might've zoned out during the match, but outside of Toni putting on the ankle lock, was there any leg work being done during the match? I bring this up because those ankle tattoos were arguably the key element to this fucking story (other than they were roommates and friends at one point). Obviously I've never worked in the industry and this is just armchair mark booking/agenting, but how is that not a point of emphasis for the match? You couldn't work in a spot where Toni tries to break Deonna's ankle with the steel steps, or have Deonna go after Toni's "new ink", or have Mariah take Deonna's legs out with a cane or something so you can MAYBE build some heat for when Deonna trying to get out of the ankle lock?
All we got was a punch in the cunt (which to be fair, Toni did say this was going to happen during one of those backstage pretapes, a labiaplasty if memory serves correct).
