Everyone over the years have attributed the "I’m home“ line as being a sign that Phil is an opportunistic, petty carny. In actuality what Mr. Punk means is a reference to Cody Rhodes which states that Cody likes to work from and even if Cody finishes his so called story he will not walk away the victor because Punk is vicious and will do anything to take his spot. Not shying away from crimes like home invasions.
The line "Some people even kissed me on the mouth“ implies on one hand that he doesn’t actively kiss people on the mouth. Meaning he would rather kiss people elsewhere. Be it ass kissing or a Judas kiss. CM Punk isn’t afraid to use manipulation and shrewd tactical affairs to get to the top of the World Wrestling Entertainment
Finally the line "I’m not here to make money not to make friends" is probably the most kino of them all. Friends is also the name of famous TV Series. One of it’s members Matthew Perry recently died. On one hand this a shot at Punks enemy Jack Perry because people think they could be related and there wont be a spin-off on the other hand it’s implied that he has led a trail of men who thought they could befriend Punk only to wind up realizing he’s an asshole at his hand over the years. It's time to face the facts, that even while shitting the bed CM Punk could still cut a more cerebral promo than anyone else in the history of the business.
