I like AEW, but I dislike the Khan Vortex, the unsatisfying nature of TV wrestling, and the intolerable cringe nature of US wrestling crowds with their self-aware "let me be involved" smark ass chants. Most of the AEW guys I like have been shunted into ROH which nobody watches and I think that's a crime. The only show which was similar to NJPW was AEW Dark and that was mostly noobs and comedy jobbers doing no stakes squash matches, but that's all I wanted. I didn't want MJF screaming into a camera about the latest smark drama. I didn't want constant run-ins and beat downs, I didn't want commentators desperately trying to make things seem more exciting, I just wanted low key presentation of what I know these guys can perform
