These past few hours have been an eye opener. I get why fans are excited to see him wrestle again, but the reaction from the internet is as if Punk was missing for a decade.. that he was just sitting at home doing nothing, and this is the first time we've seen him in ages.
AEW must be really unpopular for so many fans to react this way. There was so many opportunities to watch this man wrestle, but it sounds like no one was, or even cared, until he decided to return to fed. Like if I was Tony, I would consider selling the company before it reaches TNA tier.
