>>4730558I think it's a very apt comparison, really - drag queens aren't trying to look like women, they're doing performative, heightened, exaggerated, almost parodical approximations of hyper-feminization, in the same way that pro wrestling (sadly) isn't really trying to mimic actual combat, but a heightened, stylized version with exaggerated personas.
