>>9879256>Forming the League of Nations just so they could job to the New Day and Roman ReignsJust a reminder that Wade's last match was him getting kicked out of the League of Nations. Keep in mind, Barrett had just been through King of the Ring in 2015, and nothing came of it. Granted, good King of the Ring candidates have always been an outlier, but Barrett wasn't exactly helped by being thrown into the League of Nations right afterwards. It turned Rusev and Sheamus into a joke as well. Sheamus didn't recover from the League of Nations until he had a feud with Cesaro and they formed a tag team.
>The New Day as a wholeUndeniable that this team has chemistry, they're a staple in tag teams, BUT I think they're one of the most overbooked tag teams in WWE history. Kofi is a decent wrestler with good ability, though he's definitely showing his age nowadays. Woods plays a great company-man, Big E is "loveable" to the crowd and has a "personality", but they suffered from a problem of their reigns and matches being really forgettable because most of their opponents were factions or teams that were formed not because they were good tag teams, they were mainly formed out of desperation, and a lot of Tag Teams or formed pairs never really even competed against the New Day.
They had to be booked as faces for a while because simply they had no one to really fight in the tag team division. Even during NXT call-ups, they had this problem where they had hot-potato with the belts.
>Zack Ryder getting the IC Title on WM32 and losing it a day laterThis might be the most shoot retarded I can think of in an era of shoot retarded booking in general. Zack was still a fan-favorite, you book him to win this match as a WM moment, the crowd is behind him. You could pump out merch and garner interest in this title again, but instead they feed him to the Miz. Miz, Dolph and the Shield then had a stranglehold over the IC title. It fucked it completely and didn't recover until Gunther.
