Wrestling is a gentleman's sport, friend, and you are a better man than them for appreciating it. In it we see respectable men, INTELLIGENT men, fighting with honour and cunning.
Wrestling is a pure test of strength, skill and intellect, and not how much you can succumb to your baser instincts. Just because the lowly drunken plebeians like to see savage beasts in human skin smash each other to pieces, does not mean the respectable contest of Pro Wrestling is fake.
Unrefined swine just can't handle seeing two men stand against each other and go, fairly, shot for shot. They can't handle the tests of mettle that wrestling power moves present. They're uncultured, simple as that.
Betting on sports is a commoner's pastime anyway. Let them make their bets. Let them enjoy their man-shaped cockfights. They can have their trash.
