it's no holds barred until they reach and enter the ring
there would be wrestlers who get ambushed on their way to the ring by the heels and even people aren't participating, like Orton gets attacked by the Usos, Shanky helps Jinder, R-Truth locks someone into the janitor's office, etc. if we go more hardcore then someone would def get hit by a golf car or powerbombed onto a parking car
The wrestlers reaching the ring are always booked to be a few, 3-4, or just two, then Teddy Long or Laurinatis or Steph comes out and announces what type of match will take place in the ring, like submission only match or tables match, or just to announce some random wrestler like Brock are joining the match because why not
