It's a server where you can matchup with other players, do some odd quests for stat/cosmetic shit, and maybe play a couple of mini games for the same stuff. In reality, it's just there to stack more ads and sponsors into the game and for you to blow money on stupid shit or P2W on attributes. The fact that unlike the NBA games where your player is borderline unplayable for about 10 games unless you fork over like another 20 bucks to upgrade your character, this shit doesn't seem to be tied to your career mode/MyRise so if you're not somebody that cares for online play, you won't be progressing at a fucking snail's pace to get a good superstar (atleast from what I can tell reading their press release). Regardless, it's going to slop.
