So trying to make CM Punk the guy is never gonna work. Punk is a good No. 2 borderline great, but when he breaks that tier and go to the top tier, he don't fit the bill.
It's the same thing with Cody Rhodes. Cody is a good No. 2, he's not the guy.
That's why you're seeing Cody's title reign go the way that it's going, because he's not supposed to be in this position.
It's too big of a position for him. That's why it'd be a good idea if they were playing on the Gunther-level World Champs, they'd shine like stars, because that's where they're supposed to be at.
That's why I rejected the idea that CM Punk should win the 2025 Rumble. The Rock should win the 2025 Rumble, The Rock should go to WrestleMania 41 and knock off Cody Rhodes to be the WWE World Champ.
