WWE nearly had a boom period in 2005-2006 but fucked it up.

Batista was bigger than Cena and massively over, but Cena and Orton were also big rising young stars.
Wrestlemania 21 had a massive buyrate.
Raw ratings went up consistently (literally the only time that happened after 2001).
They had a huge roster stacked with talent and until the Benoit incident, things were looking good.

They made a mistake swapping Cena to Raw and Batista to Smackdown. Had Batista stayed on Raw, we could've got Batista vs Angle in 2005-2006 for the WHC. Triple H should've gone to SmackDown for a few years to fuck off (since people were tired of him in 2005) to feud with Cena.

Triple H is a boring booker who will never draw a dime. The Roman/Cody angles are now played out, and there are no up and coming talents except Bron Breakker and maybe Austin Theory, neither of whom is gonna be a big draw like Austin or Rock.

Eric Bischoff or Paul Heyman needs to be given the book.
