They're a suggestion, not gospel. Whenever I see something get fives stars I'll check it out but it's a coinflip if the match actually feels like "five stars". For instance Bret vs. Stone Cold or Misawa vs. Kobashi are five star matches without a doubt, but something like Anarchy in the Arena 2023 or Ospreay vs. Mike Bailey just don't cut it for me. Also anything above five stars is Meltzer bonus points and they don't matter.
