Every world champion dating back to the nwa days put a deposit down on the belt and were responsible for it. The reason he took the belt to the WWF is because Jim Herd refused to return his deposit. Once the matter was settled Flair did return the belt eventually.

Holy hell this was great. Seeing DiBiase work face was weird at first but he was fantastic at it. Everyone either laid their shit in or made it look so which I really wish modern wrestling did more so outside of Japan. Flair is great as always and DiBiase being "injured" going in made him look fantastic as a never say did babyface. His selling of being dizzy due to blood loss was great. Only criticism I have besides nitpicks is the video quality but with territory wrestling you have to accept that. May watch more Mid South because this was fun.
