Blue Meanie said when he left he did an interview where he said he loved his time in WWE and the only problem he had was that "JBL was kind of an a**hole." Blue Meanie then returned in 2005 for the ECW One Night Stand reunion PPV. JBL was not happy that Blue Meanie had called him out as a bully, so he wanted to prove his dominance. At the end, there was a brawl between ECW originals and WWE stars, and JBL found Blue Meanie and then legitimately beat him up, busting him open and leaving him a bloody mess. When they got backstage, Blue Meanie said JBL told him it was because he talked about him on the internet, and Meanie said JBL was "having a hard time proving me wrong."
