Japanese women's wrestling is at its absolute peak right now-not just in STARDOM, but TJPW as well. A lot of their girls are now getting exposure in America and our crowds love them. STARDOM is dominating the Japanese market and getting tons of international eyes digitally. Both of these promotions are doing excellent work with the in-ring product and from a marketing perspective. STARDOM has its most stacked roster ever, and TJPW gets stronger every week. It's time to break the wall down and give the people the REAL Forbidden Crossover: STARDOM X TJPW.
Mercedes Moné has laid the foundation for this to happen by mentioning the TJPW Ace, Miyu Yamashita, at her debut press conference and training with some of their best wrestlers. It's been less than 12 hours and a 5 second clip of her taking a big swing from Miu Watanabe has generated buzz all over the wrestling world.
I hope the people in power are seeing how much money is being left on the table by continuing to keep this imaginary barrier up. The executives of STARDOM and TJPW need to put their personal differences aside and do what's best for business.
