mjf did a fake shoot promo and got fake fired, this lasted for several months, and was used to being him back as a big surprise at the end of all out as the top heel contender for the world title. while this situation was going on, they swore up and down, meltzer included mind you, that it "wasnt a work" even though it clearly was. MJF was "suspended" for like 3 months. when he came back they had some fake phone call with tony con play. then on dynamite he keeps saying basically the same shit he was saying, but this time completely in character, no longer pretending to be a shoot.
