Notice how often he uses the word "I" in his tweets. Instead of saying "there's been a change of plans," it's "I changed the plans." When it's time to promote the shows, you'd think sending the wrestlers to do interviews would be the obvious move, but Tony goes into radio and TV to promote AEW himself. He's doing it for adulation. He wants people to say "WWE was so terrible, but now thanks to Tony Khan I enjoy wrestling again." And for a while people were saying that. But now they're saying "AEW is really having some problems, but WWE is great again," and it's completely broken him.
