Shogun had her fair share of clashes with Amy Flame; after all, old habits die hard. And Amy—alongside her new friend—hit just as hard. Dropping Shogun’s back onto a ladder, setting her up for a flashy spot on it…even when Neith slammed her to the outside of the ring all the way from the top of the ladder, Colby was right there to add insult to injury. Even until the end, Amy was too busy hurting her to notice the bell ringing, her chances of a strong tag team debut dashed.
Her face and spine more than familiar with steel at this point, Shogun turned around to Amy and gave her a cold stare, talking through tight breaths.
>Was it worth it, Amy Flame?
>…no, I already know what the answer is.
>The “Immaculate Connection?” REALLY? Even in a seemingly detached outing from the Angels, you can’t help but walk in her footsteps. Perhaps Jefferson-san will have the sense to walk out of hers.
>Congratulations to your 0-1 record. May it be the start of an “immaculate” streak.
As Shogun pulled herself off the ladder and took a few steps forward, she dropped to the floor just as quickly. Shocked at her own body, she pulled herself up again…and fell. Rinse, and repeat, constantly dragging herself back up and going down. When she met with Gyary upon her exit, the idol helped her up, putting an end to it. Admittedly, Shogun was still a bit starstruck even in the moment. Even if they didn’t win, it was still a hell of a thing to cross off the bucket list.
>Th-thanks. I, um, liked your performance a lot. Sorry we couldn’t pull through, but—GHH!
A sharp pain ran up her back. Ladder matches were brutal: lesson learned.
