>Women's Pro Wrestling "Stardom" Mina Shirakawa is motivated to go global.
>Starting with the Philadelphia event on April 4 (5th in Japan time), she will participate in a total of four events, including AEW's ROH and New Japan Pro-Wrestling's Chicago event. Last month, she volunteered to tour the U.S. and made an electrifying appearance at ROH, which holds over 20,000 people, defeating AEW's Anna Jaye to great acclaim. Looking back on the event, she said excitedly, "The crowd was really excited, and my adrenaline was pumping.
>Shirakawa, who said that everything was fresh for her first match at ROH, said with a twinkle in her eye, "There were medical checks, and many fighters without matches were waiting in the back, so there was a great sense of survival. Although she was bewildered by the unusual environment, she was also inspired by meeting and greeting AEW President Tony Khan, Okada Kazuchika, and former IWGP Women's Champion Mercedes Moné. I felt that this was an environment in which the fighters were naturally desperate to get ready. Both the fighters and staff had a high level of awareness, and the gym at the hotel was full of fighters. I hope that Stardom can also provide such facilities and raise the morale of its fighters.
>Shirakawa, who said she felt a sense of accomplishment from her matches at ROH, said, "I believe that what I have done was not wrong. I will definitely become the world's Chan-minna, and I will make world stardom," she declared. She also has her sights set on a match with Moné, with whom she has a close personal relationship, "I have yet to have a match with Moné as a professional wrestler. My goal now is to have a match with her in the United States. Chamina's top-secret plan is not over yet!" With that, she left the plane.
