It was a big thing that was reported when Cody was signed, how important it was that they kept the same presentation for Cody.
It was meant to be a message to potential AEW free agents that they would be given some creative leeway and their presentation would be given a chance to remain roughly the same.
I expect we'll see Jade Cargill's presentation be very similar to her AEW depiction as well.
The message to talent is basically: you don't have to get stuck with an entirely new WWE gimmick if you're already over with a gimmick of your own.
E-drones will disregard this and say DURR CODY USED DA MUSIC BEFORE as if that matters at all, and his Global Force gimmick or some shit is in any way the same as being featured weekly on national television.
