it's only the most coping of mfers that say this shit
one of the loudest pops of a Smackdown show that featured John Cena was a dark match with Keith Lee.
they use the fake crowd audio during promos, for reactions etc, or sometimes seemingly to start certain chants
the reason why you can hear cheering but the ringside people aren't moving, is because they are in an arena you moron.
there are thousands of people that are not visible on the hard cam that chant and scream
at Wrestlemania it was very obvious because of how physically far way the crowd in the upper levels is compared to the ringside attendants.
the whole place would be loud as shit, and the people ringside can be seen sitting quietly. it happened several times.
the crowd is not a hivemind. they don't all always cheer or react at the same times.
most chants start in one area, and then spread to the others. you won't see the people ringside chanting, but you will hear the whole arena chanting regardless.
if you go out and buy a ticket and attend the show, you'll see it happening.
mfers really think the way the TV show is is the same as the live experience.
