The difference is that those threads were, at worst, slightly annoying. This time they managed to hit on something that actually worked a portion of the NJPW users into a tizzy so now they'll run with this until they've milked every last drop.
The obvious solution to this is to just ignore them, however they've managed to get a few retards fired up and legitimately believing there is anything to gain from gay console warring. I still think you can give it like 2-3 weeks for this thread to go back to normal but the NJPW users on the board should be aware that this is gonna be how these autists operate now in order to not have this shit derailing every single thread and gamethread, just like when we had that namefag in the gamethreads a few years back who people kept sperging about despite fucking off after not getting attention.
