After Clash at the Castle which was somewhat lackluster, and up to Money in the Bank which was great, and everything in between, WWE has had one of its best booked years in ages, which excellent TV shows and PPVs. But the last month or two Raw and Smackdown have gone to complete shit and PPV quality has declined. There have been clear last minute rewrites on TV, as evidenced by random thrown together matches, weird swerves, constant botches, and wrestlers generally not seeming to know what they're doing (look at Sheamus and Edge's segment last night). Some wrestlers just not being featured at all, Becky Lynch and woman's champion Rhea Ripley both off the card last PPV in favor of Shayna fucking Baszler. Woman's champion Rhea has had 1 match (not counting house shows) in the last 3 months despite being fit and healthy. She has wrestled fewer TV/PPV matches than Roman this year despite being full time.
What's going on? Is this due to Vince coming back?
