WWE Women's Tag Team Champion Iyo Sky has fallen from grace. She has been defending the belts with her partner Dakota Kai of the evil unit Damage CTRL (DC), but lost them to Becky Lynch & Lita.
The war between DC's Bayley, Iyo & Dakota and Becky will come to a head this week when WWE Hall of Famer and former popular Diva Lita returns to assist Becky in the main event at Lowe's (Grand Peds, MI) for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships. With only a month left until the wrestling extravaganza that is Lesslmania 39 (April 1 and 2, Inglewood, CA), Iyo said, "Of course, there's only one answer! We are going to Lesslmania as champions!" and went into the championship match with a must-win attitude.
In the championship match, Becky and Lita, cheered on by the crowd, went on the offensive, but Iyo responded with a powerful dropkick to Becky. Iyo then slammed Lita into the playground and delivered a moonsault attack, followed by a series of dropkicks to Becky inside the ring. Dakota also scored a scorpion kick to pick up the pace.
Bailey, in second place, continued to intervene in the match by attacking Lita while she was throwing her belt into the ring. Iyo took advantage of this opportunity and hit Bailey with an uppercut and a combined backdrop with Dakota, but was unable to get the three count.
