Why did Vince (and now Paul, who has adopted the same outlook) stop caring about shock value? It's what drew people in during the attitude era. For years now we've been subjected to a very dull and watered down WWE which of course led to many fans fleeing for greener pastures. Is it simply that they don't care? They certainly don't need to care with all the revenue they still bring in. You'd just think maybe they would still have some passion for the business. Or is there something more sinister at play here?
