They built up feuds that were lacking the last few weeks, showcased a significant amount of the roster in meaningful matches with meaningful outcomes, and had character-driven promos. They even finally diversified all the hardcore wrestler characters by featuring Danhausen and Orange Cassidy, both of whom have an amazing casual-audience appeal. I know they can't do this every week, but it just feels good to see them pit their stars against each other and develop all these stakes and character motivations
They even sold a good Rampage show that has an outcome I'm interested in seeing.
All of that culminated with MJF and Danielson. And it made them actually feel like the main event act. Danielson sold that match
