At this point, there is no excuse. Even now they can cut ties with AEW and start working with WWE if they wanted to.
And don't tell me WWE will be any worse for New Japan than AEW has already been. Don't try even try to bring up the NXT Japan boogeyman. They are sending AJ Styles to NOAH and they are obviously not poaching a 100 year old Marufuji. Meanwhile Tony only sends his best toys to Japan if they are on a poaching mission. He is even using New Japan as his developmental for his younger guys like Jack Perry and Takeshita. New Japan is AEW's NXT.
