*Mare looks across the room at the rest of C.A.M.O’s belongings, for she was buried with her gun. She has not been her usual slasher-smiling self for the past 2 days now. Many thoughts have been swirling in her head since the funeral…*
*What did the General mean by “The story is not over?” Did she really think that maybe C.A.M.O. could be….no, no that’s impossible. Not to mention that both she and Karna agreed that it was very peculiar that General Bushida gave an order to “continue to live their lives” instead of hunting down and putting a permanent end to Hailey and Miss U.S.A. In the past, they would be already waterboarding them before the even more torturous end…but now? Something felt off. And what of Miss USA’s announcement? While loud and boisterous as ever…it didn’t feel like a prompt of victory, at all. Even more still in remembering the match itself, as much as she wants to forget it…Addams had Mare dead to rights multiple times on top of that cell. She could have EASILY met the same fate as C.A.M.O…but…she didn’t do it, like she could never pull the trigger…Hell, her strikes and slams, they felt…softer than their Extreme Rules match…Was she holding back? Did she really mean what she said by keeping it in the ring despite her “videos” prior? Again, everything just felt off. Especially with one less person to care for in the world.*
