I once met Bret Hart at a signing in the early 2000s while we were standing around waiting for Bret to sign our shit a guy in a ski mask and hood gets out of line with an envelope, goes up to the front, hands the envelope to Bret without a word, and leaves. Bret was shocked at first but he opened it up and once he got a look inside he almost started crying. He rushed to the back and came back out almost an hour later. I remember being mad at the time so I asked him what was inside the envelope that made him so emotional? To his credit he understood my frustration to he took this letter out of the envelope and let me read it, and I'll never forget what was written inside. It said "To whom it may concern, if you don't reply to this post your mother will die in her sleep tonight -Love, your brother Owen". I folded the letter back and handed it to Bret and went on with the signing, at first I was pissed at having to wait an hour but in hinesite I'm glad he gave me a peek into his meaningful brothership with Owen
