I'm sure to some extent they are also pandering to their boss. But, to think some aspect of it isn't also the truth is silly. I'd be happy working for a boss that makes us record money, and doesn't just promise but shows us that they are taking things in a better direction for talent and fans. Yeah, I shudder to think of the horrors of working for a successful company where I'll make a ton of money.
It all smells like people defending the fact that they took the easy meal ticket from the billionare mark, and little else.
