>>16185205>Dusty was a charismatic everyman and a working class hero. He can get away with not having the best body, because how he looks suits who he is and how he wrestles.>Mick Foley is the perfect example of this. He didn't have an athlete's body, so he compensated by going the extra mile and sacrificing his body.>Darby Allin is a modern example of this. He's excellent at wrestling how he looks. He literally throws himself at his opponents, he sells for most of the match, and he wrestles as an underdog. It's not necessarily an anti-AEW thing. You don't have to have a perfect body, though it helps. But if you don't, don't wrestle like you're a peak athlete or a powerhouse when you're 150lbs soaking wet or you look like a random guy from down the street. We all know it's fake, you don't have to make it so ridiculously obvious or hammer people over the head with it when you look like you've never been in the gym or even a real fight in your life but you're kicking out of huge moves or doing things no one your size or level of physical prowess would ever do in real life.
