Money in the Bank was set to take place at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas; however, due to low ticket sales the location of the event has officially changed.
The premium live event will now take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
WWE expected to sell around 30,000 tickets for the event, but they didn’t come anywhere close to this. They sold 19,000 tickets. MGM only seats 17,000, people so 2,000 people will be without seats and issued refunds.
The event has been advertising Brock Lesnar and Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns for the show, but this clearly wasn’t enough to garner much fan interest.
