Knowing that Amy is probably on a plane right now and won't receive it for a while, she nevertheless begins to reply.
>Amy!>It's wonderful to hear from you again. And Japan! I'm so happy for you! I didn't end up getting booked on Forbidden Allure so I can't make it. I'd love to go, but I'd have to do it out-of-pocket, and I don't have enough money yet, and Dad would NEVER spring for a plane ticket to Japan. I wish so much I could be there to see your match in person and check out some cool stuff in Japan with you.Colby starts texting out something else. She stops, thinks about it, and decides she can't send that; Amy will think she's weird. So instead after several moments she continues:
>Anything you bring back from Japan will be wonderful. I'm so excited to see what you choose! It'll be great to catch up again when you get back - you'll have to tell me EVERYTHING.>I just hope you packed some good books or loaded some videos on your phone before you left. Colby has come to the arena after hearing M.Alice speak, but it's now difficult to build up her nerve. She reaches into her gear bag, pulls out a tiny mini bottle, and takes a stiff, burning drink from it, annoyed with herself for taking this minor crutch for her spirits. She tosses the bottle in the trash and begins to go to the ring.
