It's not just AEW either at this point, its wrestling in general. I swear about 25% of this board actively does not like wrestling anymore and will actively go into threads to shit on something no matter the company and no matter what it is. WWE has this, where discussion of anything that happens in PPVs or something else is dead a couple of hours after it happens and its onto talking about whatever drama some twitter post from some random I've never heard of console-warring as usual.
If people dislike a company then that's fine. I don't like NWA, I've given them a chance. But I don't watch it anymore and I don't talk about what I dislike about it unless I see a thread that's specific to that kind of discussion or I feel like I wanna talk about that, which is so rare that its basically never happened. Instead, I just wish people talked about wrestling more rather than the stuff surrounding it. I get that in a way, that's always been more interesting, but its not interesting if its dirtsheets, twitter posts from people I've never heard about when I find it more fun to talk about silly shit or funny things that happen in the shows, or maybe a serious angle like that Gunther and Miz promo which I thought was great and got me invested in a Gunther match almost to the point of the Sheamus vs Gunther matches.
No discussion around here on stuff like that though, unless you were in the gamethreads and just happened to catch it. Otherwise you're dealing with
