The real red-pill is that AEW was never a good product. It only came across that way because WWE was so god awful from 2018-2022 that almost any alternative would look great in comparison. Now that WWE has competent leadership and puts out solid shows week in and week out (not everything has been good, but the good stuff has outweighed the bad) and delivers great PLE's, AEW is now getting exposed for what it really is: a dimeless fed ran by an incompetent coke addict with no real booking experience outside of his TEW fed, with a roster consisting of either marks who think star ratings from daddy Meltz are more important than storytelling, or washed up boomers who are just there to work a light schedule and collect a fat paycheck from a billionaire's son.
