This is the moment that turned me off AEW. Not the match itself, but giving it away for free on TV without building it up for a ppv and the championship to draw a mega payout. When they brought in a white-hot Danielson and instead of putting the title on him for a short run Tony cooled him off completely by going to a fucking draw only because le ebin long-term storytelling said Page needed to win the title after sitting at home for a year. That was the beginning of the end for me i.e. the point where I stopped watching once proven anti-draw Page was gifted the title for doing pretty much nothing.
