So, the yakuza guys caught up with Sabu after the show and started beating his ass. Mike Awesome jumped in and helped Sabu fight them off. Sabu also says that the Yakuza put out a hit on Mike Awesome. Now, when Sabu and Mike Awesome wrestled in Japan, they mostly wrestled for FMW, a company that is known to have been controlled by the yakuza. Mike Awesome was found dead in his home in Tampa, which has a relatively high Japanese-american population.
