>>9068890The idea that being employed no matter how shit the company presents the talent is somehow good is erroneous.
Not in a monetary sense for the individual talent, but for their career. I get it if you need the money but jesus save them if they think it'll do good for their careers at this point of the game. People in the company and on the verge see how some of the talent is used and what their pushes look like.
AEW is at the point people should and probably are seriously considering whether going on the Tony magical all expenses paid ride is good for them when they look at the Miros, Andrades and Lance Archers grounded cooled in their last prime years of their career, nevermind how good they are or aren't, they are sitting on their ass like jail time and they won't get that time back.
The original idea of AEW was seemingly lost long time ago, that idea where ex-WWE talent or discarded prospects that where slapped with shit gimmicks could build a rivaling company and show their worth on TV and build a better company that actually elevates its hires and builds it up with them. Instead of one crazy Vince is 4 Vinces and a Ûber-Vince doing whatever the fuck. Clowns putting themselves in clown matches and crushing their own hot talent just the same.
