Nowadays you have shit that looks so incredibly fucking fake that it may as well have been copied straight out of a Here Comes the Pain extreme moments compilation. ECW had a lot of high fliers but again, their spots were mainly realistic and believable. It wasn't some smarkfed shit like Rhyno doing a gore in slow motion so Sabu can launch off of his back and do a hurricanrana to RVD and launches him over the top rope with such force that he manages to land a five star frog splash on Mikey Whipwreck who's conveniently on the ground outside the ring

ECW may have been the catalyst for the shitshow of wrestling we have these days but as an E-God I think ECW was dimes incarnate, and what an alternative to mainstream pro wrestling should look like
