But I also put loose states and conditions on myself for two reasons. First, it provides an endpoint for me. Secondly, it ensures I won't get bored as I know where the start and possible finish are. Sometimes I just imagine myself coming into a company and working with it for six months before tipping my head and heading off into the sunset (hopefully, while a diva laments my departing).
