The news of Windham Rotunda are devastating. I was always intrigued with his Bray Wyatt and Fiend characters. A true visionary and a genius storyteller, Bray added a refreshing and dark stories to bring to the wrestling world.
He’s worked with the very best and has been acknowledged by his peers as a genius and most importantly, for being a kind soul.
Yesterday, he left the world at the young age of 36. It does not seem real that we will never have the chance again to see him entertain us and make us question what even is going on. He captivated all of us watchers and behind the scenes treated his fans, peers, and those around him with great respect and kindness.
It takes a really strong man to open yourself up and be completely vulnerable and Windham poured his heart out on national television.
I can’t help to feel how unfair it is for him to be taken away from the world at a point where he was in the best shape of his life, at the top of his career, and beginning his journey as a father.
My condolences to the Rotunda & Windham family, to the fans, to his peers.
I never knew Windham, but he was so talented that he would make you feel like you were a supporting soldier who’s been by his side throughout all his struggles.
RIP
